Summary | 0001803: 'no gui' option wanted for vst plugins.
Description | It would be nice to have a 'no gui' option for vst's. Currently, vst's with no gui (mda, simulanalog, etc) show the default sliders which is great, while a lot of vst's with gui's of their own load the gui the first time but not the second. It would be nice to be able to side-step the vst gui's altogether and just use the sliders for all of them.

i think this is an excellent idea. most of the problems with VST plugins relate to their GUIs, not their DSP code. |

I'd go even further to say that the DSP code and PRESETS are _MILES_ above the pretty gui's on my list of priorites. In Ardour, SOUND IS KING! ; ) And yet it still manages to be one of the best-looking audio apps around... |
