Summary | 0001706: BCF in mackie control emulation mode breaks after each session
Description | As suggested in the tutorial on this subject, a BCF in mackie emulation mode only works when in ardour.rc the MIDI port mode is changed to "alsa/raw", or at least this appears to be the case in my system. However, upon opening a session and then closing again in Ardour2, this setting is changed back to "alsa/sequencer" i.e the controller does not work on next startup without changing the file again.

Ports defined in etc/ardour2/ardour_system.rc overwrite ports in ~/.ardour2/ardour.rc. Until this is resolved, edit etc/ardour2/ardour_system.rc |

Since this is working as intended I am resolving this issue out for right now. |
