Summary | 0001646: Fullscreen mode hides transport buttons
Description | Every time I go to the fullscreen mode (via F11) the transport buttons disappear. They are coming back as soon as I leave the fullscreen mode. workaround: When I undock the transport panel and then go to fullscreen mode then it is possible to dock the transport panel. This is the only way to use it in fullscreen mode.
Additional Information | Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, Gnome 2.18, uname -a:Linux qnull-laptop 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:36:31 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux jackd with realtime via rlimits

I believe that hiding the transport panel and other toolbars in fullscreen mode is intentional. I think a way to unhide those widgets would help in this case. Perhaps it would also be a good idea to apply the principle of least surprise and not hide the toolbars when going into fullscreen mode by default. |

This is a useful workaround for me as well, thanks. I think oyu might be right in that having the ability to have the transport bar by default in fullscreen mode could be very useful. |
