Summary | 0001532: Visual representation of plugins effects on waveform
Description | It would be very practical to have a feature that allows to see the effects a plugin (or automation, or whatever else changes the waveform) has on the volume in a region, by selection a region and 'rendering' it. As I understand it, because the processing of the audio data takes so long, this would be usable for small chunks of audio only. In many cases that would still be very pratical though. (For example to see if an expander removes background noise but leaves the signal intact.) <las> kirberich: well, that would be a modification to "Bounce Region" that replaces the original with the bounced version. <las> kirberich: "Bounce & Replace Region"
