F11/maximise-editor-window is "fullscreen" mode. It wasn't really intended that you could ever put another regular window on top. I guess this can be considered a bug, but in someways its really a deliberate, if rather irritating design feature. If you use the WM's maximise button on the editor window, you will get an effect closer to what I think you think should happen. |
