| Description | When exporting, and all tracks connected to Master are muted, what are almost certainly denormal issues freeze the system for several minutes. Hardware: Pentium 4 Mobile (To my knowledge Northwood, Dell Inspiron 2650) | ||||

pure silence cannot cause denormal issues. do you mean silence, or almost-silent (i.e. there is some analog noise) ? |

that was a dumb question. sorry. does the export proceed at normal speed if just one track is unmuted? |

Resolving out issue as it has been years without feedback, and denormal handling was added to ardour some time ago. |
