Summary | 0008817: There is no way to record sound from pulseaudio input.
Description | There is no way to record sound from pulseaudio input. On my phone with a Linux environment, I cannot use sound systems other than pulseaudio. At the moment, I decided to test this on a PC and faced the inability to connect the audio track input to the pulseaudio input. Tell me, is there really no sound recording capability for pulseaudio, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

This is intentional. Pulseaudio cannot guarantee reliable input and certainly no reliable latency which is a requirement for pro-audio. Nor does pulseaudio offer MIDI support.
